Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible./span/ppstrongGENERAL FUNCTION /strong/ppAs part of the EssilorLuxottica HR Operations Team, the Payroll Manager oversees the payroll processing activities for North America. The Payroll Manager manages the payroll processing team and performs a variety of duties to support the HR and Payroll functions for associates in North America with approximately 35,000 employees across The United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. The Payroll Manager provides exceptional customer service and problem resolution while maintaining strict confidentiality of information at all times./pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliLeads the execution and accuracy of US, Puerto Rico and Canada disbursements of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws/liliManage and develop payroll processing team/liliMaintain and update payroll SOPs/liliEnsure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions andbr terminations is accurate and timely/liliCollaborate continuously with leadership regarding team assignment delegation, team performance overview and ongoing payroll matters/liliCollaborate on a frequent basis with various departments (Benefits, Compensation, HRBP, Legal, Compliance, Store Operations, Accounting and IT) and with external vendors./liliAppropriately maintains and secures confidential records and inquiries./liliFollows and maintains knowledge of all payroll and HR policies and procedures including a comprehensive understanding of various PTO, Sick, and Holiday plans to ensure accuracy of accruals and payments./liliAdheres to applicable state, local and federal laws, rules, and regulations./liliSupports Leadership with ongoing audits and adhoc requests from business/liliLeads the continuous review of employee payroll data information./liliOversee resolution of pay errors to ensure corrections are performed timely and accurately based on compliance with state regulations/liliOversee ticket resolution timeliness with the processing team to ensure ticket responsiveness and resolution is timely per SLAs/liliSupport the setup of standard reports to run automatically for distribution, and creates Ad hoc reports as needed for legal, compliance, tax and other business partners/li/ulp strong /strong/ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/lili5+ year’s payroll experience, specifically with reporting, data analysis, payroll processing and auditing/liliIn-depth knowledge of payroll processes, workflow, and procedures in a fast paced shared services, multi-EIN, multi-state environment/liliAdvanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word/liliLeadership, initiative, analytic, investigative and attention to detail skills/liliTrustworthiness with confidential information/liliStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communications/liliMust be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills./liliExcellent teamwork, verbal and written communication skills are essential./liliAbility to work effectively with all levels of management, staff, customers, and vendors/liliStrong organization skills including the ability to delegate and prioritize/li/ulp /ppstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliExperience with ADP Globalview, ADP Vantage, ADP DataBridge, SAP HCM, Workday, and Kronos Workforce a plus/liliCPP certification/liliAbility to interpret union contracts/liliBusiness Objects reporting experience/li/ulp /ppspan style=strongOur Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitment/strong/span/pp /ppspan style=We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
