Perform other related duties as assigned./li/ulpstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliValid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license or 442A Industrial Electrician license in Ontario./liliAt least 4 years of experience as a licensed Maintenance Technician in an industrial/manufacturing environment./liliProficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems./liliAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and CMMS software (preferably SAP)./li/ulpstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliExperience in an optical lens manufacturing environments./liliExperience in automation integration, PLC programming, and troubleshooting./liliFormal training in root cause analysis (RCA) or other problem-solving methodologies./liliStrict adherence to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and machine safeguarding./liliStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and proactively address maintenance issues and improvements./li/ulpstrongPHYSICAL DEMANDS/strong/pulliAbility to lift up to 50 lbps/liliAbility to work in various physical positions, including standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching./liliAbility to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures based on the manufacturing area./li/ulpstrongWORKING CONDITIONS/strong/pulliProduction plant environment with exposure to industrial machinery and equipment./liliMay require shift work, including afternoon, nights and weekends./liliOvertime opportunities available./li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
