Will also own the implementation of corporate policies amp; procedures at the specified site(s). Ensures internal processes amp; metrics are aligned to create a high level of product quality amp; consistency. Strengthen quality systems, determining the appropriate infrastructure amp; resources required to achieve business objectives at the labs.  /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliFacilitate company’s quality control, quality assurance amp; compliance functions/liliEnsure compliance with applicable internal/external regulations, standards, policies amp; procedures, amp; performance/liliDevelop, implement amp; monitor progress of strategic quality plan amp; objectivesworking closely with production labs, engineering, continuous improvement, Operations Excellence, Maintenance,  amp; training /liliEnsure critical/strategic priorities have resources amp; sufficient quality oversight to ensure timely resolution of issues/liliNegotiate/Assesses customer quality agreements/liliMaintain working relationships with all customers amp; government agencies projecting a positive corporate image/liliProvide updates/recommendations to management of the quality plan/objectives/liliMaintain contacts with critical suppliers, professional organizations, consultants amp; colleagues to remain current with industry standards/liliEnsure a comprehensive Validation Master Plan in compliance for all policies released in a timely manner/liliCoordinates work efforts of a group to establish, maintain structure amp; organization./liliAct as the corporate designate for all forms of communication with regulatory authorities onsite compliance mattersand communication with Central headquarters/liliFacilitate introduction of new products in network labs/liliTravel required up to 50%/li/ulpstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliBS degree in Science, Engineering, or Operations Management/liliMinimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing environment/liliMinimum of 15 years of management/leadership experience/liliDemonstrated ability to develop, coach amp; mentor key employees/liliTrack record of success amp; a broad understanding of contemporary quality practices /liliExperience in development of an organizational culture that promotes amp; sustains quality as an element of superior business performance/liliSignificant experience/knowledge in Quality areas (Quality Assurance amp; Quality Control including Validation amp; proven expertise in the design amp; implementation of quality processes /liliTechnical knowledge of product design, manufacturing, process design amp; improvement/liliAbility to effectively relate the quality functions to the business as a whole/liliExcellent verbal amp; written communication skills/li/ulpstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliAdvanced Degree/liliMedical Device Class II+ experience /liliSpanish Speaking Preferred /li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
