Tech performs maintenance actions on any facility equipment in order to support production needs./ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliPrepares surfaces for painting; selects proper coating and painting materials; applies painting/coating materials with rollers, and/or brush depending upon surface./liliRepair and hang doors; repair and install locks./liliInstall and finish drywall, perform plumbing repairs/liliPerforms carpentry and other wood working duties./liliPerforms minor electrical work as required./liliCoordinates stocking of inventory and purchasing of equipment and materials needed./liliAssemble, Move, and Repair any Active, Reserve, and Pallet Racking as necessary./liliPreforms preventative maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment such as shipping lines and box erectors./liliAny and all functions deemed necessary by management./li/ulpstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliMinimum of 3 years of distribution experience/liliCourse work in building maintenance./liliThree to five years prior work experience in carpentry, painting, and masonry/drywall/plumbing/liliExperience with Conveyor and Automation preferred./liliGeneral overall knowledge of general building maintenance and repair./liliConsistent satisfactory experience and attendance./liliStrong verbal and written communication Skills./liliFollow instructions furnished in verbal or written format./liliAbility to safely operate power industrial trucks, forklifts and other equipment.
