In our dynamic environment, fueled by technology and innovation, our people have the space to pioneer new solutions./ppJoin our global community of over 200,000 dedicated employees around the world in driving the transformation of the eyewear and eyecare industry. a href=https://www.linkedin.com/company/essilorluxottica/posts/?feedView=allDiscover more by following us on LinkedIn!/a/ppstronguGENERAL FUNCTION/u/strong/pThe Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots and repairs maintenance of all facility equipment, which includes general facility maintenance and construction.pstronguMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/u/strong/pULLIPerforms preventative maintenance on facility equipment as outlined in schedule; troubleshoots and repairs maintenance equipment to maintain manufacturing schedules and/or needs.LICompletes general facility maintenance, i.e. plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical or PLC as needed.LIDisassembles, cleans, and repairs all equipment both mechanically and electrically.LIPerforms minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment to equipment; ensure proper daily set-up and calibration of equipment.LIEnters and analyzes all maintenance data.LITracks preventative maintenance, orders, and other equipment/tool activities in Megamations.LIAssists the maintenance team leader in the training of manufacturing and maintenance associates.LIAids the total quality facilitator in the implementation of process improvements.LIMust be reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.LISupports, follows, and monitors all safety requirements and provide immediate feedback to all/anywhere necessary.LIMaintains adherence to company policies.LIAssumes additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed./ULpstronguBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/u/strong/pULLIHigh school diploma or GED and one year related experienceLIExperience in highly automated manufacturing, lean manufacturing/continuous flow operationsLIDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical schematics, multimeters, equipment manualsLIDemonstrate the ability to resolve issues by working remotely with vendors, contractors, and suppliersLIBasic PC knowledge and math skillsLIMust know and follow safety procedures and standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out. LIPhysical demands include the ability to lift 50-100 lbs., continuous walking or standing, frequent lifting from waist, shoulder and overhead/ULpstronguPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/u/strong/pULLIAssociates degree in a technical field or equivalent experienceLI3+ years related experience/ULpPay Range: $23 - $30/ppThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
