Join our global community of over 200,000 dedicated employees around the world in driving the transformation of the eyewear and eyecare industry. a href=https://www.linkedin.com/company/essilorluxottica/posts/?feedView=allDiscover more by following us on LinkedIn!/a/pp /ppstrongGENERAL FUNCTION /strong/ppThe Eyecare Advisor creates exceptional value in the lives of patients by delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring all patients receives the highest quality of care.  Enthusiastically satisfies patients all the time through exceptional service.  Understands and brings to life NECE./ppstrong /strong/ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/strong /pulliGreets customers without delay when they enter the location./liliPromptly answers the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner, taking messages, directing calls appropriately and scheduling patient visits in an efficient manner./liliDetermines the reason for the customers visit; in store explains how to shop at Pearle Vision; in Doctor’s office explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services as well as the appropriate time frame./liliIs attentive to details; reviews prescriptions and/or patient information carefully; identifies special needs, consulting with optician, Doctor or Retail Management when necessary./liliShows patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients./liliDemonstrates knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operation/procedures./liliHandles and files all patient records in an organized and efficient manner./liliPlaces contact lens orders, processes shipments and properly submits invoices for payment./liliOperates the POS system terminal inputting customer/patient and prescription information with accuracy and attention to details./liliAccurately operates the POS system, when required, collecting proper payment following company security procedures and retaining proper change for a variety of transactions, such as credit cards, layaways, discounts, insurance and coupons./liliShows customers where to pick-up their glasses and sign-in upon return to the store./liliTakes pride in the appearance of the store and shows initiative in keeping the displays clean, attractive and organized./liliInforms management of potential safety opportunities (ie. broken tiles, furniture, etc.)./liliComplies with all safety/regulatory requirements ensuring supplies/chemicals are stored and used appropriately./li/ulp /ppstrongRETAIL/strong/pulliDemonstrates good product knowledge; takes initiative to accurately describe the features and benefits of various lenses and frames./liliAssists the customer in selecting frames and lenses that are best suited for their lifestyle, prescription and price needs.
