Swarovski SWAROVSKI

Senior Accountant Greece (Full Time)

At Swarovski, you don’t just join a brand - you help reinvent one of the most iconic names in fashion and design. Here, bold ideas matter, creativity drives change, collaboration is valued, and your work shapes how the world experiences brilliance. If you’re ready to push boundaries, grow your skills, and leave your mark where innovation meets timeless elegance, we’re ready for you.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant (Greece) to deliver accurate, compliant accounting, close, and statutory reporting in line with Greek GAAP and Group policies.

This is your chance to own local tax (including VAT via myData), intercompany and escalations, and keep the business audit-ready through strong controls and documentation.

About the Job

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for accurate day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Greek GAAP, Group Accounting Policies, and statutory requirements. You will work closely with the Finance & Accounting Manager (FAM), GBS Hub teams, external auditors, and local stakeholders to secure timely financial close, strong internal controls, and exceptional reporting quality.

  • Own day-to-day accounting for the Greek legal entity in line with Greek GAAP and Group policies.
  • Lead review and reconciliation of GBS-prepared entries, with a focus on store accounts and intercompany invoicing.
  • Resolve complex AP and employee expense reimbursement cases escalated from the GBS, acting as the primary local point of contact.
  • Drive timely, accurate month-end and year-end close in partnership with the FAM and GBS teams.
  • Oversee inventory and warehouse accounting (movements, valuation, legal warehouse books), ensuring stock takes and SWAP alignment.
  • Lead indirect tax and statutory reporting (VAT, withholding, tax-free), including accurate VAT submission via myData and ongoing local compliance.
  • Ensure audit readiness by leading audit support and issue resolution, and by governing key store finance processes (EPOS-Up discrepancies, cashier, invoicing) including knowledge transfer on Greek specifics.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in retail or luxury environments.
  • Strong understanding of Greek GAAP; experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in English; strong analytical and communication skills.

What We Offer

You can expect a range of benefits, including:

  • Medical and Life Insurance
  • Annual Target Incentive Plan
  • Exclusive employee discounts on Swarovski products
  • Employee Assistance Program offering support in the areas of mental, physical, and emotional health, managerial support as well as financial and legal matters
  • Paid volunteering leave to support causes that matter to you
  • Learning and development programs to help you grow
  • Hybrid and flexible work options to support your work-life balance
