CDI - RETAIL MERCHANDISER

BRIEF OUTLINE OF THE JOB:

The mission of Retail Merchandiser involves a combination of strategic planning, market analysis and collaboration with various departments to ensure the commercial success of Alaia’s collections.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pre-season buying: lead the buying process

• In charge of the Worldwide OTB planning
• Product Selection & offer curation
• Review Regions Assortment
• Size breakdown

• In-season management:

• Sales and performance analysis
• In Charge of Forecast & Planning
• Inventory Management with Product allocation and rebalancing
• Delivery & Inbound Follow Up
• Collaborate with VM team on set-up & follow up
• Product & retail feedback to Central Product teams
• Responsible for Price strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years/ 8 years merchandising experience in Luxury brand experience
• Business level in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. (Vlookup, Sumifs, Pivot etc.) and Powerpoint.
• Experience with Anaplan & SAP
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
