Position: Distribution Planner

Company : Bulgari Japan G.K.

Work location : Tokyo

Department : Supply Chain

Report to : Supply Chain Senior Manager

 

Position Overview:

Main mission is to optimize stock management for Japan network, ensure boutique are replenished at adequate level to maintain a high product availability while reducing stock excess across the network.

This position is an important role that oversees both BtoB and BtoC.  All distribution process must be executed within the shortest possible lead time.  The position is expected to analyze and enhance operational process for improvement and implementing strategies to heighten both productivity and efficiency.

Les missions

Responsibilities:

Stock Replenishment & availability

  • Continuous review and update the parameters for replenishment target by store and by product to ensure adequate stock level and high product availability to maximize profitability.
  • Manage seasonal products launch to ensure high sell through with efficiency in short period

 

Store Stock Monitoring

  • Monitor store stock coverage and optimize overall inventory level
  • Plan and organize distribution strategy on end of life product in cooperation with Merchandising

 

Stock rebalancing

  • Lead the local rebalancing process
  • Organize and monitor rebalancing at both local and global level
  • Monitor the efficiency for all transfers/rebalancing
  • Communicate shipping needs to Logistics.

Actively participate in Supply Chain involved projects

  • Opportunity to participate in Supply Chain involved projects upon gaining familiarity with daily operations. These may include:
    • The upcoming SAP S/4HANA Go-live project in Japan (scheduled to kick off in April, 2026).
    • Projects aimed at improving efficiency and optimizing operational processes.

Reporting

  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting

 

Profil

Requirements - University degree with a major in business/finance/accounting. At least 3 years working experience, including 2 years on similar position/ Supply chain experience in retail/FMCG industries Successful experience at working across different functional areas and level of organization Excellent Excel skills and overall computer skills Power BI knowledge welcomed Fluent verbal and written skill in Japanese. Business level English communication skills are essential for daily communication with stakeholders. Solid SAP knowledge and extensive user experience are essential for daily operations. SAP system project experience welcomed.   Technical and personal skills Excellent analytical skills and logical thinking are essential Very strong communication and interpersonal skills Team player & self-starter Autonomous, proactive Good organization & planning Curious, fast learner Attention to details Adaptable, open minded for the new and changes
