Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Data Analyst to lead data management initiatives and drive data-driven solutions at Bulgari Japan. This role will be instrumental in leveraging all customer related data to achieve business objectives, ensuring data quality, governance, and strategy are aligned with global guidelines and local needs. The Data Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for data topics, fostering a culture of data excellence and supporting the implementation of advanced analytics and AI use cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Governance & Quality:
    • Work with Business, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to adopt Data Standards identified by HQ.
    • Organize process and procedure support for the identification of critical data elements, definition of data quality rules, and implementation of data quality measurement and monitoring.
    • Help improve data quality issue management and resolution processes to ensure data quality issues are identified, prioritized, and remediated effectively.
    • Work with HQ to develop and implement Data Governance policies and procedures covering Data Quality, Data Control, and Data Strategy.
    • Work with HQ to develop and implement required data governance scorecards / dashboards covering Data Quality, Data Control, and Data Strategy.
    • Create processes to track and monitor progress from measurement of critical data elements to identify priority data issues and provide insights on how they might impact data and business processes.
  • Data Strategy & Business Solutions:
    • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging 1st party & 2nd party data to drive business solutions.
    • Crunch our customer database to develop a better understanding of customer behaviors or to follow-up on business KPIs.
    • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
  • AI & Advanced Analytics:
    • Work with HQ to coordinate the test & learn on AI use cases (locally in Japan).
    • Support & develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
    • Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
    • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
    • Serve as Entry Point #1 for Data topics for business, IT, and HQ.
    • Work with global risk and compliance/CRM to ensure data needs are met.
    • Report on data governance initiatives to Senior Management and other relevant management committees.
    • Provide regular performance and status reports to required stakeholders and contribute to status meetings.
    • Collaborate with IT/BI teams on required Data Governance IT projects to ensure requirements are met and completed in a timely manner.

Profil

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in data management or analysis. Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.). Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms. An analytical mindset with superb communication and problem-solving skills. First level of knowledge about data privacy obligations, or at least able to find information on legal topics, plus able to coordinate with legal departments (internal, 2nd party, vendors).
