Focus and determination are critical to finding the right solutions and tools to address root cause./pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliSupervises the job performance of employees on assigned shift, making sure their work runs on schedule and meets company standards for safety, quality, production, and waste/liliCompletes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries./liliDevelops and implements action plans to meet department goals in the areas of labor efficiency, labor utilization, housekeeping, and productivity improvements./liliProvides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests/liliWorks on continuous improvement projects./liliWorks with engineering and maintenance departments relative to modification of processes and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products./liliPerform regular daily audits of key processes to ensure optimum process performance./liliMeasures and evaluates employee performance according to company standards for quality, productivity, and career advancement./liliEnsure that there is an adequate distribution of skills to enable production plan to be achieved effectively./liliActively builds leads and production employee skill set to create a cross functional workforce and increase efficiencies./liliStimulate teamwork within his/her departments. Creates a fair and positive environment that fosters a solid work ethic and maintains a good team attitude within the group./liliEnsure his/her departments are a safe work environment./liliLeads activities to communicate and maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices/li/ulp /ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliBachelor’s Degree/lili3+ years of manufacturing or equivalent work experience/liliSome exposure to a manufacturing/distribution environment/liliDemonstrated leadership ability/liliProven track record of individual accomplishment, contribution and team based success/liliEffective communication and organizational skills/liliCreative and innovative problem solver; able to provide ideas for technical and/or organizational improvements/liliDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/liliMS Office and ability to learn other systems (SAP)/liliStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills/liliSelf-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability/li/ulp /ppstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliMaster’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field/liliLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience/li/ulpPay Range: $70,230.50 - 106,404.52/ppThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
