About the role
The Team: The Hermès Maison Madison Flagship Boutique opened in 1983 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as a part of the New York Region. This position will report to the Alterations Manager and will work collaboratively with the sales team and selling support teams to support the client experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment. The Opportunity: As the Tailor, you are responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience by ensuring every garment reflects impeccable fit, craftsmanship, and the Hermès’ highest standards of quality. You are responsible for performing precise alterations, executing refined hand‑ finishing techniques, and supporting the boutique team through expert guidance during fittings and client consultations.
