We are looking for a Senior Production Planner to join us on a temporary basis to lead and manage the production plan of several Components & Finished Goods Workshops. Reporting to the Industrial Supply Chain Manager, you will be based in Madrid (Getafe).
Key Functions of the position:
- Collect and challenge Components & Finished Goods capacity assumptions, identify with them potential capacity levers
- Ensure Production Planning Master Data reliability (completeness, consistency, alignment with actuals)
- Build feasible production plan by workshop to respond to the demand (feasible in terms of workshop capacity and raw material availability)
- Define novelties ramp-up plan with workshops and follow-up workshop efficiency ramp-up
- Assess impact of planning in terms of finished products availability at central Distribution Centre level, and alert Head of Production Planning in case of major impact (projected shortage, overstock)
- Be the entry point for Supply Chain Teams (in charge of Demand and Distribution Planning) on topics linked to Finished Product availability at Central DC on their segment
- Share and follow-up production plan with workshops
- Understand workshops production organization and planning processes, identify/define and follow-up workshop maturity improvement action plan
- Follow-up and challenge workshop KPIs

What is important for the role:
- Proven experience as a production planner, ideally in Luxury and Fashion industry
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and MRP principles
- Working knowledge of APS and MS Office
- Critical thinking to challenge workshop organization, processes, and announced capacity
- Pro-activity and reactivity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
- Strategic thinker who can balance short-term goals with long-term objectives
