Description
The Assistant IT Manager will be a key contributor to the IT department, responsible for overseeing and managing daily IT operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam for multiple maisons. This role will have a direct operational focus on supporting both retail stores and offices. The Assistant IT Manager will play a crucial role in managing store-related IT projects, executing the regional IT project roadmap, and ensuring that daily business IT requests are met efficiently through collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager.
Acting as a proactive business partner, this individual will support stakeholder requirements, manage IT assets, and contribute to budget preparation. This role requires a hands-on approach, including basic network troubleshooting and setup, to maintain operational excellence, support strategic IT initiatives, and provide essential support to other markets as needed.
Les missions
Technical and Operational Support
- Provide comprehensive IT support and training on relevant applications and systems, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels and standards for both office and store users
- Manage the deployment of system upgrades and enhancements, proposing improvements based on local requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Delivery team to ensure day-to-day business requests are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Project Management
- Manage IT-related store activities, including new store openings, closures, relocations, renovations, and technology upgrades.
- Coordinate and support store projects to ensure smooth implementation within agreed timelines and standards.
- Drive the implementation of local IS&T; project deployment in collaboration with regional teams
- Ensure project milestones are met, and deployments are conducted efficiently and according to regional standards, business priorities, and timelines.
Network Management and Troubleshooting
- Manage set up and basic troubleshooting of network devices such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of network terminology and concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
- Monitor basic network health and performance, utilizing simple dashboards or command-line tools to identify and address potential issues proactively.
IT Asset Management and Reporting
- Manage IT asset lifecycle processes, including procurement coordination, inventory tracking, deployment, transfer, maintenance, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records for all supported markets across Maisons.
- Prepare and provide quarterly IT asset reports, including asset status, utilization, and any relevant risks or recommendations.
Budget Management Support
- Assist with preparation of the annual IT budget and ongoing financial forecasts.
- Provide data and insights related to IT expenditure, asset costs, and project investments.
- Monitor budget adherence and identify areas for cost optimization.
IT Business Partnering
- Act as a business partner to understand operational needs and translate business requirements into effective IT solutions.
- Build strong working relationships with retail, office, and functional stakeholders across the supported markets.
Cross-Market and Ad-Hoc Support
- Provide IT support and expertise for other markets within the region as and when required.
- Participate in regional IT initiatives and contribute to cross-functional projects.
- Be available to handle urgent IT issues or projects that may arise outside of regular scope.
