The Key Account Manager Cruise lines is in charge of MH business performance and execution onboard a defined portfolio of strategic cruise line accounts across the Americas. He/She is a key contributor in building and leveraging relationships with the beverage community in the cruise industry (F&B; Manager, Bar & Restaurants Managers, Entertainment and Guest Experience managers…) to develop and execute impactful programs for Moet Hennessy portfolio that deliver sustainable growth through consumer consumption and engagement.
The Key Account Manager Cruise lines works closely with the regional Marketing team to deliver on trade and off trade programs and act as an ambassador of Moet Hennessy through product and service trainings.
Office/Location: Miami Office and in field based on business needs.
*Willing to travel approximately 30% of the time, primarily on cruise ships.
Les missions
Trade Management (focus ON Trade)
- Build meaningful business relationship with the trade (cruise lines)
- Is accountable for the listing, visibility, brand presentation, staff knowledge and program execution of MH portfolio onboard cruise lines.
- Monitor and analyses sale out performance and depletions, propose and implement actions to improve performance.
- Build incentive programs to drive consumption.
- Monitor competition at the point of sale.
- Act as the front interface of Moet Hennessy for any matter
- Report to the TR team on his customer visits and provide marketing team with insights.
Trainings and Ambassadorship
- Define, organize, and conduct trainings for cruise staff (on and off trade)
- Conduct and animate brand programs such as private sales, dinners, tastings, brand experience and contribute to the direct engagement with consumers.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Marketing degree preferred
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive account management experience, with a strong preference for experience in on-trade, cruise lines and/or national accounts.
- Background with wines & spirits is a must, with on trade experience preferred.
- Proven track record in growing existing business and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong business acumen skills coupled with excellent negotiation skills.
- Budget management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
