Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $65000 - $129225 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location. The Styling & Concept Designer role is responsible for styling and concept support across the Womens Polo team.  The purpose of this position is to work with senior design leadership to ensure all needs are met for each project.


Styling

This role supports seasonal styling and market execution by driving visual preparation, shoot support, cross-functional alignment, and styling direction across key brand and marketing moments.

• Conduct styling research and compile seasonal inspiration, swipe, and styling direction for meetings, presentations, and cross-functional use.

• Support style-outs, fittings, and shoot preparation by organizing looks, maintaining accessible styling albums, and coordinating product and accessory needs across categories, including licensees.

• Create, distribute, and maintain merchandising and styling materials such as look books, seasonal style guides, microtrend recaps, and visual direction for PDP, editorial, site, social, and marketing.

• Assist on shoots across PDP, editorial, Tier 1 and Tier 2, video/social, live shopping, and special projects, including casting, fit guides, sharing looks, and on-set support as needed.

• Partner with Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, and Styling teams to align on deliverables, key seasonal moments, marketing priorities, key buys, and styling adoption opportunities.

• Support market and showroom execution through pre-line and post-line review meetings, creative grouping alignment, showroom mapping, mannequin and framing selections, and presentation preparation.

Concept

This role supports seasonal concept development through inspiration research, archive and market sourcing, cross-functional creative collaboration, and showroom execution.

• Partner with the Concept team and senior creative leaders to develop seasonal rigs, moods, themes, and inspiration that inform overall creative direction.

• Conduct extensive image, trend, color, print, and silhouette research using internal archives, the Ralph Lauren Library, and external market sourcing to shape seasonal concepts.

• Source and pull vintage and new garments, textiles, accessories, and design references to support seasonal development, licensee inspiration, and concept presentations.

• Collaborate with fabric, trim, and product design teams to build initial color palettes, fabric boards, seasonal prototypes, and aligned concept direction across Polo.

• Support showroom and rig room organization, visual merchandising, and styling execution for presentations, marketing initiatives, advertising, and special projects as needed.


  • Deep understanding of Ralph Lauren aesthetic
  • Experience working with brand in a creative capacity (design, brand presentation, styling, creative)
  • Understanding of the product life cycle & business calendars
  • Ability to influence leaders, peers and team
  • Strong creative communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with creative / design teams
  • Highly collaborative with cross functional partners
  • Proficient in Microsoft/ Adobe
