Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $85000 - $161444 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location. Responsible for the design and product oversight of Men’s RLX Knits, in partnership with the Head of Design with a strong understanding of performance and lifestyle categories including golf, tennis, training, and athleisure, as well as key competitors, consumer expectations, and the evolving market.

Responsible for market and product research, style specification, and materials selection in line with the product brief and category VLP, with insight into trend, functionality, materials, trim, and animation.

Responsible for product definition and communication of product attributes to cross-functional partners. Create designs within XD/Vibe templates, maintain accurate digital files, sketch assigned styles, review prototypes for aesthetics, attend fittings, and partner with Technical Design on fit and construction.

Requires strong ownership of the end-to-end design process, including product definition, cross-functional alignment, calendar management, and the ability to translate research and inspiration into a clear product point of view.


Build strong cross-functional relationships and manage shifting priorities with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.Maintain strong organization across PLM, BOMs, Vibe files, and seasonal milestones.Partner closely with Product Development, Raw Materials, Technical Design, and Merchandising to ensure clear communication and smooth execution.Prepare for key seasonal milestones and ensure timely calendar adherence across design deliverables, handoffs, reviews, and fittings.Own assigned product from concept through handoff, including new developments, carryovers, proto reviews, and fittings.Bring strong knowledge of knitwear development, including yarns, stitch structures, and technical construction techniques such as bonding, laser finishing, and engineered solutions.Lead development direction for materials, trims, branding, graphics, and construction details across assigned styles.Create and present product with a strong point of view aligned with RLX brand direction and business needs.Translate seasonal concept direction into clear, actionable design through sketches, CADs, and presentation boards.Research market trends and innovation in product, yarns, materials, trims, graphics, and knit construction.
  • Ability to translate creative vision and merchandising strategy into strong design execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities aligned to seasonal calendar, milestones, and business needs.
  • Ability to clearly define product attributes and communicate design intent to cross-functional partners including PD,  Raw Materials, and Technical Design.
  • Ability to present research, inspiration, and ideas with a clear design point of view.
  • Strong organization and ownership of development pipeline, PLM/BOM, and seasonal digital files.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
  • Fashion design experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and sketching (3D proficiency preferred).
  • Use of AI tools a must
