YOUR MISSION: At Maison HQ, defining the overall Sales strategy for Retail and/or Wholesale, and ensuring its implementation worldwide. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? - Define and implement the overall Sales strategy for Retail and/or Wholesale at Maison HQ, ensuring its execution worldwide. - Identify and communicate necessary actions to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate employees to commit to these principles and achieve local business goals. - Develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex potential accounts to build key relationships at local and national levels. Coordinate the engagement of the organization with the customer to ensure effective two-way communication and issue resolution. - Build a personal network of senior managers within the business sector and represent the organization at industry events. Gather market intelligence, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation. - Lead a cross-functional internal team (e.g., technical, commercial, and legal) to configure complex tailored or bespoke product-and-services solutions and associated contractual terms that meet the customer's mid- to long-term needs at a national/key operating-unit level. Negotiate agreements with customers and internally with commercial colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met at an acceptable level of profitability and cash flow, or review and authorize complex sales proposals from team members that deviate from standard terms, escalating issues to senior management where appropriate. - Develop internal marketing plans and collaborate with other departments to improve internal relationships and build strong external customer relationships. - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the CRM system within the area of responsibility, identifying and communicating opportunities for system improvement to enhance customer relationship management. - Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy for the area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on policy application, then monitor implementation within the organization. - Evaluate staff capabilities within the department to identify gaps and prioritize development activities. Implement the organization's formal development frameworks within the area of responsibility. Coach and mentor others to support the development of the organization's talent pool. - Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring integration with the wider functional strategy. - Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans; forecast performance against business key performance indicators (KPIs); develop business cases for key activities/projects; and estimate the financial and human resources required to deliver performance targets. - Develop and/or deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues. - Manage and report on performance within the department or area of responsibility; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives. - Monitor and review performance and behaviors within the area of responsibility to identify and resolve noncompliance with the organization's policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct. - Master's Degree or Equivalent Level required. - Extensive experience providing expert competence. - Experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
