You will also ensure tracking of freight movements, while working collaboratively with all other team members to continuously improve warehouse processes that will positively impact customer service and grow profitably./pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/ppThis information is intended to be descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position. The following examples do not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent./pulliProcesses all paperwork relating to receiving functions such as bills of lading./liliRecords all incoming material, supplies, equipment and returned goods/liliaccurately./liliVerifies goods received against purchase orders./liliVerifies that materials are properly identified in storage and bin locations./liliRoutes inbound freight to assure receipt or delivery as required./liliUses hand pallet truck and electronic pallet truck for loading and unloading./liliPerforms forklift operations./liliBack up supervisory support to warehouse manager and assigns staff their daily/lilitasks./liliOversees receiving daily activities./liliExpedites requests for tracing of freight movement./liliReports initial freight claims with carriers for losses, damages, product shortages/liliand overages./liliAudits freight bills of lading and submits documentation to carriers for errors./li/ulp /ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulli1-2 years of Warehouse, distribution, or related experience./liliHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills./liliMath aptitude – calculating and counting./liliStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills./liliAbility to manage priorities and workflow./liliAbility to use forklift, electric pallet truck and hand pallet truck/liliCommitment and get things done attitude/li/ulp /ppstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliForklift Certification/liliHazardous Materials Training/li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
