Role assists in the achievement of store success by managing key optical and lab processes amp; systems to exceptional results./em/pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/ppstronguWhile working in Lab/u/strong/pulliCustom fit glasses and precisely places prescription in lenses./liliWork with associates to strengthen their knowledge and skill for foundational product amp; store processes related to lens and lab technology./liliEdge amp; mount only when needed and within company guidelines./liliEnsure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements./liliRoutinely conduct eyewear inspections with excellence./liliComplete and file store amp; lab paperwork thoroughly and accurately in a timely manner; work with associates to be trained amp; skilled in doing the same./liliEnsure approved safety programs are implemented amp; maintained consistently per standards./liliCreate a safe working environment for all; demonstrate safe work practices./liliResponsible for basic operation, cleaning amp; ongoing maintenance of lab tools amp; systems./li/ulpstronguWhile working in Retail/u/strong/pulliGreet all customers with a warm welcome; show urgency in providing service to customers amp; satisfying their needs; attract new customers./li/ululliExplore the needs amp; priorities of customers amp; link to store offerings, including eye exam./liliConvey a commitment to providing unsurpassed customer service to all customers and patients with every visit./liliAssist customers in selecting frames amp; lenses that are best suited for them; suggest improvements amp; recommend solutions./liliAnticipate problems before they occur; explores underlying reasons for recurring problems; goes beyond symptoms to get to root cause; strives to develop long-term solutions to problems./liliPerform work accurately amp; thoroughly as required.
