The role also supports advancing the profession of optometry in the healthcare industry. This position is the leader within the local practice and marketplace and establishes the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community. /pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliWorks closely with managing and associate doctors to ensure the highest standard of patient care and workflow efficiency./liliConveys a patient-centric approach through leading team performance, coaching, inspiring, and developing team members to deliver unsurpassed patient experiences, every time./liliRecruits and selects high caliber, success-oriented talent and creates a talent pipeline for succession./liliMonitors all aspects of practice operations, provides on-the-job training and support to team members in accordance with Company policy and procedure./liliAnalyzes practice financial data and makes recommendations regarding next steps to optimize overall practice profitability./liliControls profits and expenses for the store, through operational functions, sales and medical/vision insurance claim accuracy, labor, supply ordering, etc./liliDemonstrates deep understanding of eyecare business and patient care and has the capability to transfer knowledge to superior patient experiences and business results./liliFollows workforce management guidelines to optimally staff all practice hours of operation./liliMaintains inventory accuracy through proper inventory management procedures./liliDrives change management activities in the practice to include adoption of new technology, processes, and continued improvement./liliEnsures all Company approved safety programs are implemented and maintained./liliWorks weekends and evenings in support of the business needs (varies by location)./liliAdheres to attendance and daily time keeping requirements./liliAdheres to all company policies and procedures./liliConsistently maintains proper dress code./liliPerforms other duties as assigned or as business needs./li/ulp /ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliHigh School graduate or equivalent/lili4+ years management/supervisory experience, preferably in an eyecare/healthcare setting/liliA proven track record of delivering results and growth/liliExcellent business and financial acumen including operational analysis/liliFamiliarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications/liliStrong communicator and listener/li/ulp /ppstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliCollege degree or equivalent/liliABO Certification/li/ulpPay Range: 57,300.24  - 90,573.60 /ppThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
