Projects Sourcing Specialist is the single point of contact for all Sourcing needs of the improvement projects in the site operations. As key member of the project, the position holder will work with the different project work-streams to determine the overall project needs and structure sourcing initiatives, play a key role in the success of the project by identifying needs, clarifying requirements and managing supplier & stakeholder relationships. The scope will cover the sourcing of all Direct categories purchases like CAPEX & MRO and operation OPEX.
Job Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential suppliers for project requirements
Assess supplier capabilities, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, scan local supplier market to feed the potential supplier base
Lead the sourcing process by issuing RFI/RFQ/RFP, and conducting negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirement, drive clarity and align sourcing approaches with the project’s objectives
Identify potential supply chain risks and work proactively to mitigate issues that could delay or impact project timelines
Focus consisting of tool shop, CMM, CNC and injection and other brown filed projects
Evaluate proposals received and make final recommendations
Ensure that appropriate attention is given to all aspects of procurement by monitoring information and conformity to established practices
Measure supplier performance, resolve any conflicts and handle escalations from stakeholders and suppliers
Prepare or lead negotiations with potential and/or current suppliers to obtain maximum value
Ensure Goods and services procured from suppliers is as per defined quality standards, is delivered on time at the right cost
Evaluate and Select Suppliers | No conflict of interest, transparent competitive bidding and adherence to EL standards
Coordinate & Facilitate supplier registration process with requester and the Shared services
Preparing status reports and presentations as needed by the company
Job requirements:
5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a project-focused role
Graduated in Engineering or related is preferred
Knowledge of sourcing techniques, Procure to pay processes as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market plus SAP ERP system, Proficient using MS Office
Ability to understand and secure the legal stakes of the company in sourcing and procurement process, and educate all stakeholders to optimize TCO through effective sourcing
Excellent Project Management and negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate costs and contracts
Professional verbal and written communication skills (in English and Thai) with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge of SAP ERP system, Proficient using MS Office

Skills & Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a project-focused role.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing sourcing support for brown filed projects and machinery buying.
Knowledge and Skills
- Engineering professional
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system, Proficient using MS Office
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques, Procure to pay processes as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market
- Develop/disseminate commodity specific knowledge and educate all stakeholders to optimize TCO through effective sourcing
- Ability to understand and secure the legal stakes of the company in sourcing and procurement process
- Excellent Project Management and negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate costs and contracts
- Deadline oriented with the ability to organize assignments, set priorities and carry out plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English and Thai) with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Nice to have
- Experience in working with Engineering consultants and negotiating contracts.
- Exposure to project sourcing in Greenfield & brown-field projects and managing start-up operations
- Ability to understand and map out the total cost of Ownership systematically in sourcing decision processes.
