As a senior leader within the Planning and Business Support team, this role owns a portfolio of high-complexity, cross-functional initiatives spanning contact lenses, single vision lenses, OTC, and accessories. Operating with significant autonomy, the Senior Manager architects and delivers end-to-end solutions in a volatile, AI-driven, and rapidly evolving market, while building and guiding a team of project managers./ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliOwn and govern a portfolio of enterprise-level initiatives across EssilorLuxottica’s North American distribution network, ensuring alignment with business strategy and executive expectations./liliDefine and enforce program governance frameworks, including risk management, milestone tracking, escalation protocols, and executive reporting cadences./liliTranslate complex operational challenges into structured roadmaps with clear business cases, resource plans, and measurable KPIs/liliServe as senior escalation point and thought partner for direct reports navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments./liliAct as the primary senior liaison between distribution operations and cross-functional partners including Logistics Engineering, Business Systems, Planning, IT, Finance, and Commercial teams./liliDrive alignment and executive buy-in across organizational boundaries; present program updates and strategic recommendations to Director and VP-level leadership../liliRepresent the PM function in cross-entity forums spanning Luxottica, EssilorUSA, Nassau OOGP, and related affiliates./liliChampion the evaluation and adoption of automation, AI, machine learning, and emerging logistics technologies to improve on-time delivery, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction./liliLead pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives, establishing clear go/no-go criteria and scale-up frameworks./liliLeverage advanced business analytics and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to generate predictive insights, quantify business value, and drive portfolio prioritization./liliEstablish data standards and reporting frameworks that provide real-time visibility into operational performance across the distribution network./liliLead root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving for critical operational failures and systemic risks./li/ulpstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field./lili8+ years of progressive experience in project/program management within logistics, strongdistribution, or supply chain environments, or senior lead PM role../strong/li/ulpstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliMaster’s Degree (MBA, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field)./liliPMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification./liliKnowledge of Oracle, SAP, MAS500, or other major ERP/WMS platforms./liliExperience with distribution center automation, robotics, or next-generation logistics technologies./liliBackground spanning both retail goods and custom-manufactured product portfolios (e.g., optical, pharma, or medical devices)./li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
