MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION

Achieve product category business targets & strengthen the brand value by activating consumer with product newness, sharp communication, as well as the disruptive integrated marketing.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

1. Market & Consumer Insights

o Conduct ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting (color, texture, packaging, ingredients).

o Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and social listening to identify unmet needs and white-space opportunities.

2. Product Strategy & Development

o Define product positioning, target audience, key benefits, and unique selling propositions (USPs).

o Lead the full product lifecycle—from ideation and concept validation to launch and post-launch performance review.

o Provide expert input on shade ranges, formulas, textures, and sensory experience based on category expertise.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

o Partner with global on product operation to make sure on time deliver.

o Collaborate with cross function on go-to-market strategies, messaging, and promotional plans.

o Understand the business needs & align with Cross channel on daily executions.

4. Project & Cost Management

o Manage product development timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.

o Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers; optimize cost structure without compromising quality or brand standards.

5. Performance Tracking & Optimization

o Monitor post-launch KPIs (sell-through, repeat purchase, reviews) and recommend improvements or phase-outs.


PRINCIPAL COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above

Experience:

o Minimum 2–5 years of product marketing related experience, Makeup related experience or heavy makeup user will be a plus.

o Keen eye for color, design, and beauty trends;

o active user of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu.

o Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

o Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

o Excellent analytical skills, fluent in English.
