Les missions

The Beauty Consultant is part of Sales team, reporting to Sales & Trade Marketing Manager, activate in the top multi-brand stores assigned.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Selling Guerlain products and providing a high standard of service to customers throughout the whole sale:

• Initiating contact with customers and welcoming them both on point of sale and through traffic-stopping

• Identifying, understanding and reformulating the customers’ needs

• Proposing and demonstrating personalized product offers, on fragrance, make-up and skincare

• Proposing additional products within category and bringing the customers from one product category to another

• Developing personal and durable relationships with customers, through sampling, bookings for make-overs, etc

• Achieving retail sales targets on a monthly basis

• Educating customers on Guerlain products and on the Guerlain brand

• Guarantee respect of Guerlain merchandising guidelines and optimizing Guerlain visual exposure on the POS

• Monitoring stock levels and managing issues to ensure there is sufficient stock

• Training and coaching the retailer’s multi-brands salespeople on Guerlain products, sales techniques and brand

• Ensuring the efficient roll-out of Guerlain promotional events that are organized in store

• Steering and analyzing Guerlain turnover and market share on allocated area

• Reporting key messages from field and suggestions for improvement to Guerlain representatives

• Respecting corporate & store rules (attendance, punctuality…) and Guerlain grooming guideline

• Realization of given sales budget assumptions on the 100% level

• Guerlain attitude and customer service on the highest level

• Compliance personal cost limits

• Being engaged during the shift to reach the perfection on display quality and cleaning for the 3 axis

• Checking the stock issues in order to have no references in shortage (KPI 100 % availability)

Profil

EXPECTATION Profile:   • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales, preferably in high-end cosmetics, luxury goods • Strong affinity for customer service and focus on sales • Selling skills and operational expertise through a previous professional experience in the luxury, beauty or fashion environment • Strong interpersonal & communication skills • Out-going, courteous, genuine, convincing and passionate • Attracted to the beauty, fashion & luxury universes • Punctuality, precision and 100% efficiency in tasks execution • Ability to create good atmosphere in work   Technical skills: • Very good selling skills • Very good conversation skills • Good cosmetic and make-up application knowledge • Knowledge of English (medium-high level)   Key competencies: • Self-confident, liking contact with people and at ease to approach customers • Comfortable working in a multi-brand retail environment • Adaptable to novelty and change, eager to learn • Team-player • Professional and positive • Well-organised, autonomous and self-motivated • Result-oriented, always striving to achieve more • Able to federate and motivate salespeople on goals • Customer-service oriented
