Description
Perform Seasonal Buy Planning and Validation
- Work with merchandising head and central merch team for store cluster & IA size setting, general & MTC feedback submission, top investment planning and zone buffer validation
- Work with planning manager for OTB rationalization and category allocation; suggest order changes to reflect local needs.
- Provide market insights and competitor activities and conduct a seasonal buying debrief meeting to cross-functional teams for merchandise strategy and key investment
- Communicate local finetuning assortment with central merch and product strategy with zone commercial teams
Sales Driving and Performance Analysis
- Align with central merch and zone commercial teams on sell-through performance, product opportunities, risks and solutions; produce regular sales reports for management review and monthly retail presentations, and prepare seasonal buying reports and post-season reviews to spot trends, opportunities and improvement areas.
- Design local product focus and newsletter to prepare cross-functional teams for new season/ capsule/ drop launch
- Work with central merch for special capsule proposal
Sales Planning & Inventory Management
- Perform new season launch, allocation, manual reorder, pricing implement and adjustment, further markdown proposal, B&M; and Digital special promotion assortment and stock management.
- Support manager to monitor sales & inventory levels and proceed consolidations pushing ST% and increase productivity
- Work with HQ supply chain and local logistics teams to coordinate delivery; Initiate special transfer for events or VIC inquiries
Training
- Develop product training materials and conduct seasonal training.
- Create a new launch package with an allocation plan, training note and product focus in each drop launch and share with cross functional teams.
Pricing and Promotions
- Validate price change in local currency and monitor impact to the business; follow up seasonal price change with corresponding teams
- Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and promotional strategies
Team Coordination & Consolidation
- Coordinate & consolidate admin tasks of Merch team, and manage special mall promotions and coordinate promotion forms and approval process
- Work with compliance team and follow up on QC process and action based on results.
