Job Summary

Key player for maintaining the books for dedicated brand(s) in Asia Pacific. In support by a small team of accounting officers to handle daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. A seasoned team player with both the Finance & Accounting team, and other departments to aim to desired results. With can do attitude to meet deadlines and to accomplish a face paced environment with changes and challenges.

Role & Responsibilities

- Prepare and finalize accounting entries for general ledger

- Conclude with Accounting Officers to handle daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks

- Close monthly financial books

- Prepare monthly trial balance review and related schedules for discussion with Business Planning for the brand(s)

- Prepare inter-company reconciliation and perform follow-up action as needed

- Prepare inventory reconciliation and maintain fixed assets register

- Calculate and control monthly rental expenses for each point of sales

- Draft monthly accruals for discussion with Business Planning for each brand

- Review and finalize bank reconciliation

- Prepare monthly Group reporting (SyRUS)

- Support the preparation of various tax reporting and audited financial statements

- Participate in internal audit and control review

- Participate in other projects such as system enhancement in other markets, new store openings and business take over

- Other ad hoc tasks assigned

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Semi-qualified Accountant/ CPA student member

- Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience and at least 2 years in retail segment is a plus

- Experience in handling full set of book and General Ledger for multiple entities is a plus

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel a MUST

- Excellent analytical and organization skills

- Able to manage competing priorities effectively under pressure

- Possess strong communication skills and proactive working attitude

- Able to work and think independently and meet tight deadline

- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, good written skills in English.

- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
