KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Purchasing Strategy Execution
· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders – including buyers and delegated buyers from the Group’s Maisons - to challenge and validate business needs, define requirements, and develop clear specification.
· Conduct market and risk analyses to identify and recommend qualified suppliers.
· Design and manage competitive tender processes (RFx), evaluate proposals, and lead commercial negotiations.
· Ensure all contractual documentation complies with legal regulations, corporate policies, and group standards.
2. Supplier Relationship management (SRM)
· Manage both global (regionally aligned) and local contracts, including renewal planning and performance monitoring.
· Conduct regular business reviews with strategic suppliers (e.g., logistics, retail operations, marketing agencies, office supplies).
· Lead supplier performance evaluations, organize vendor meetings to foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Attend industry events hosted by key partners and conduct on-site supplier visits to strengthen relationships.
· Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions when necessary, and support short- to mid-term supplier development plans.
· Consolidate and communicate supplier performance data across the region.
3. Communication
· Organize and facilitate regular cross-functional procurement coordination meetings to align priorities, share best practices, and track category performance.
· Maintain and enhance internal knowledge platforms: Regional Purchasing Newsletter, Microsoft Teams channels, Data Lakes, Spend Visibility tools, and other digital systems.
· Support reporting to local leadership and global headquarters, including savings tracking, project updates, and contract database maintenance.
4. Buyer office
· Contribute to ad hoc projects such as procurement tool development, policy refinement, and data analysis.
· Coordinate events for the LVMH Purchasing Academy and sustainability programs
· Manage year-end rebate redistribution processes to the Maisons
· Maintain close collaboration with sourcing teams in Paris, Shanghai, and the United States to ensure alignment with global strategies.
5. ESG and Procurement Risk Management
· Integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) risk criteria into supplier selection, qualification, and evaluation processes in line with LVMH’s “Life 360” sustainability strategy and global compliance standards.
· Assess potential risks related to environmental impact, labor practices, human rights, business ethics, and anti-corruption during sourcing and tender cycles.
· Leverage due diligence tools (e.g., supplier self-assessments, third-party audits, ESG rating platforms) to evaluate and mitigate risks across the supply chain.
· Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Internal Control and Security teams to ensure adherence to local and international frameworks.
· Escalate high-risk cases and support remediation plans, including supplier engagement or replacement when necessary.
KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
· Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field; specialization in Sustainability or Procurement is a plus.
· 8-10 years of proven experience in indirect procurement, preferably in multinational environments.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills — sociable, attentive, and able to build trust across diverse stakeholders.
· Proactive, hands-on mindset with strong initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex organization.
· Strong organizational and prioritization skills; capable of managing multiple projects with integrity and precision.
· Detail-oriented and data-driven — comfortable working with figures, databases, and analytical tools.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel, excellent PowerPoint presentation skills, and familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
· Fluent in English and Mandarin; French is a plus.
· Willingness to travel regularly within the APAC region (approximately once every quarter)
