Account Manager On Trade NL
Job Mission
As Mccount Manager in Amsterdam you play a crucial role in the luxury ON Trade business. You are responsible for developing the business at your key accounts and for this you build a close partnership with your contacts. You make commercial offers and you are in close contact with the marketing department to organize impactful experiences with our champagnes, wines and spirits brands at our trade partners. You are a strategic and qualified account manager, able to deal with F&B; directors and buyers to negotiate about long terms contracts.
Responsibilities of the role
Account management
- Maintain and optimize the commercial relationship with assigned group of accounts, with focus on the accounts in Amsterdam.
- Responsible for business growth in existing accounts while demonstrating spirit of conquest to unlock new opportunities in targeted universe.
- Responsible for order management: you are the first person of contact for your account’s orders. You will place the orders in close contact with your colleagues from customer service and ensure the follow-up.
- Responsible for credit management of the accounts in your region.
- Sales force is the backbone of our customer’s knowledge. You use it on a daily basis to build the account history with meeting notes, visit planning, distribution and sales opportunities.
- Master your sales cycle journey to meet your value, volume and distribution targets.
New Business
- In constant ‘hunting mode’, seeking for new opportunities: new trade partners, new listings in existing accounts.
- Build your network within the Amsterdam region to be able to let the business grow.
- Creating offers by calculating possible investments and pricing for new accounts and negotiate on new deals.
Trade marketing
- You operate in close contact with the marketing department to craft tailor-made experiences within your accounts.
- Communication with the brand managers when making contract offers on possible brand investments and activations.
- Creative thinking around rate of sale activations and brand building activations to further establish MH portfolio footprint in the targeted universe.
- Maximize brand visibility to drive sales.
(Internal) communication and other responsibilities
- Provide a monthly forecast of your sales expectations, based on actual sales, to the ON Trade director and business controlling team.
- E-learning on brand and product knowledge in order to increase your ability to share your knowledge with trade partners.
- Act as an ambassador of MH portfolio: representative during events and trade activations
- Able to give products tastings and training on champagne, wines and spirits portfolio.
