PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Assist Product Manager with:

· Product category portfolio management via strategic foot print YOY.

· Achieve product category business sell-in/sell-out target by activating consumers with product news, event and integrated marketing support

· Brand Image enhancement via disciplined communication strategy driven by creativity and seamless execution.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Market understanding and analysis

1.Competitive Analysis

· Monitoring competitors’ launches, activities

· Analysis of competitive offerings (claims, pricing, assets, performance, etc.)

· Competitive media and social analysis


2.Consumer Understanding

· To understand Dior users and their satisfactions/dissatisfactions, expectations

· To understand potential consumers and their needs

· To understand competitive brand users and their satisfactions/dissatisfactions

· To understand marketing trends and identify portfolio opportunities

Product Management

1.Launch Activities

· To develop localized launch plans based on international marketing plan

· To support 360 IMC campaign and maximize the impact of star product launches through all related dimensions of communication, such as advertising, merchandising, PR, CRM, event, etc.

· To lead marketing plans and ensure cohesive positioning and maximize sell-out & value share growth

2. Media and Advertising

· To work with media manager on the implementation of weekly tracking, monthly media plan, developing communication message, lay-out and artwork with agency and meeting deadlines

· To prepare advertising and POP materials with co-ordination with training team, to maximize the effectiveness of consumer education and communication

3.Promotional Activities

· To design promotional plans with Retail Marketing team based on marketing strategy and business target

· To monitor and evaluate the promotional activities with support from Retail Marketing, Finance and Sales Dept.

4.Sales Forecast and Inventory Control

· To work with demand planner on sales forecast, pay close attention to the top products & novelties and work out sku rational proposal to management for decision.

5.Communication and Team Management

· To communicate the marketing plans with all related functions to invite involvement and improve efficiency

KEY FIGURES

· Turnover under responsibility:

  1. Total Makeup/Face/Eyes/Backstage sellout target, market rank target, market share achievement
  2. Monthly sellout forecast accuracy
  3. Novelty forecast accuracy and sell-through
  4. On time delivery for daily report and ad-hoc study
  5. Information accuracy on product launch and supply status of new and catalogue items, plan B agility
  6. Zero delays for launch plan implementation due to PM readiness
  7. No errors in system operation including product information maintenance, stock allocation, etc

· Good PC skills and familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
