Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $68200 - $105525 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location. Ralph Lauren is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our Digital Commerce Development team in North America. This role will support the implementation of Composable Commerce solutions across multiple regions, working closely with our global development team to enhance our e-commerce platform capabilities.

Development & Implementation

  • Develop and implement new user-facing features using modern front-end technologies including React.js and Node.js
  • Build reusable components and scalable front-end libraries to support rapid development cycles
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and accessible code
  • Optimize application performance across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes


Collaboration & Quality

  • Partner closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
  • Participate in peer code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions
  • Contribute to debugging efforts and resolution of complex technical issues



Innovation & Growth

  • Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
  • Propose and implement improvements to development processes and tooling

Experience

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in front-end development with React.js, nextjs and other related frameworks
  • Proven track record in e-commerce or consumer-facing web applications

Technical Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and modern JavaScript concepts
  • Deep understanding of React.js ecosystem and core principles
  • Hands-on experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API, or Zustand)
  • Experience taking components from Figma to code.
  • Proficiency with modern ECMAScript (ES6+) features and syntax
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data operations
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive/mobile-first design principles
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Babel, NPM/Yarn)


Preferred Qualifications

Technical Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with TypeScript for type-safe development
  • Knowledge of Next.js, Vite, or other React frameworks
  • Understanding of GraphQL and modern API query languages
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaborative mindset and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments
  • Analytical problem-solving approach with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
