JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Retail Performance (40%)

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Brand Director and Store Management to drive retail performance, identifying opportunity and areas to maximize business performance.

  • Provide detailed business analysis from an individual store level to market level on a weekly and monthly basis. Monitor economic and political changes in the region, stay updated on competitor news and assess the impact of changes to the business. Support the Brand Director in monthly and quarterly business reviews and in the preparation of annual Strat Plan.

  • Identify gaps in performance and partner with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, CRM) to close the gap on stock availability, or visibility for the boutique or market.

  • Maintain a sales-driven mindset and be knowledgeable of the retail network performance. Partner with Training Manager and CRM Manager to support the store managers in the development and implementation of action plans to achieve store performance targets.

  • Spend time at the stores on a weekly basis to communicate sales and product strategies to the frontline team to ensure alignment on key objectives and goals of the brand on a local, regional, and global level.

Retail Reports (35%)

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing sales performance and KPIs, detailed product category sales trends, and provide latest estimates to management.

  • Develop and/or communicate tools for Store Managers to monitor monthly and annual retail performance targets related to sales, client experience, CRM, NPS, training, and team development.

  • Track performance of new store openings vs. CAR projections. Provide monthly and quarterly insights into opportunities and challenges of newly opened stores, working with cross functional teams to act swiftly to fix gaps in performance.

  • Run and analyse ad-hoc reports when necessary to support business needs

Administrative Tasks (15%)

  • Compile commission files for the region, review and propose commission / incentives that are suitable based on the current growth strategies from HQ.

  • Collaborate with Merchandising team and assist with compiling product feedback from retail teams.

  • Prepare market visit agenda, one pager detailing market and boutique performance for management visits.

Event Support (10%)

  • Support the boutique teams at the store during retail activations, festive periods, and marketing initiatives.

  • Partner with CRM and Store Management to provide post event recap, identifying areas of achievement and areas for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

  • 10+ years of experience working in retail/luxury management

  • Analytical, loves exploring vast amount of data, breaking down complex problems into their core components and providing actionable insights

  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Looker and Power BI

  • Effective team player, agile and flexible
