The Global Logistic Project Lead optimizes end-to-end transportation and warehousing. This role manages all logistics projects, ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations aligned with strategic objectives and driving continuous improvement.
Les missions
YOUR TASKS:
- Strategic Project Management & Execution: Lead complex logistics projects from analysis to implementation, including developing global core models, tracking KPIs, overseeing timelines, supporting 3PL negotiations, and acting as Business Process Owner for Finished Goods Logistics, including SAP S/4HANA upcoming implementation.
- Process Engineering & Optimization: Map existing operations to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement, design and develop global logistics processes and SOPs, implement solutions for performance/cost/disruption mitigation, and establish supply chain risk management.
- Leadership & Autonomous Project Management: Lead and empower cross-functional teams, drive logistics initiatives, and autonomously manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, IT, and external partners; act as a key liaison between logistics and IT for system integration; and oversee WMS/TMS implementation and maintenance.
- Digital Transformation & Innovation: Drive digital transformation by implementing new technologies (e.g., AI) and advancing digital logistics functions.
Profil
YOUR PROFILE: Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field. 10+ years in logistics, transport, and warehousing management. Deep understanding of logistics processes and best practices. Proven project management expertise, especially with ERP (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and BPO roles. Proficiency in TMS, WMS, and ERP integration. Experience with digital logistics and transformation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party providers. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus. Willingness to travel (20-30%). English: Fluent, German: Intermediate, French: Nice to have.Informations complémentaires
