The RDE is responsible for the ongoing assessment of performance, and the continuous development of the doctor, and motivation to ensure retention. The RDE provides oversight to supporting office staff, who work collaboratively with store management to deliver superior quality of care, patient experience, OD and associate engagement, and business results in all locations./ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliDevelops amp; delivers planned office sales and exam plans/liliCoaches amp; develops ODs and Office Staff to build sales, increase exams amp; improve NPS./liliEnsures patient needs are met by setting expectations for prescribing from the chair and transitions to/from LC when eyewear is recommended./liliDrives patient flow into medical/surgical channels by coaching ODs on clinical pathways, conversion conversations and appropriate handoffs./liliSupports rollout and adoption of new medical/surgical services./liliEnsures MODs and AODs are trained on lens option benefits./liliEnsures effective use of tools and systems to optimize the patient experience./liliTracks results, analyzes trends amp; impact of action plans in opportunity offices./liliUses co-planning to ensure ODs amp; SMMs build collaborative plans to improve care, experience amp; business results./liliRecruits and maintains a pool of candidates for open locations./liliOrients new/existing ODs taking new locations; monitors internals through succession planning./liliMaximizes doctor coverage to drive business, ensuring right ODs are scheduled at the right times./liliImplements OD-based analysis amp; action plans to improve NPS; coaches behaviors that support improvement./liliIdentifies amp; leads problem-solving and action-oriented communication on significant optometric issues./liliSupports development of new OD and technician training programs/tools./liliImplements policies amp; guidelines as set by LC./liliSupports testing and evaluation of new eye care products, technology amp; procedures./liliCoordinates ophthalmic vendor contacts with employed amp; sublease ODs./liliEncourages participation in EyeMed group programs amp; ensures provider standard compliance./liliMonitors Medicare/insurance coding amp; billing guidelines to optimize compliant revenue./liliMaintains clinical competency in diagnosis, treatment of ocular pathology amp; co-management as allowed by state law./li/ulpstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliDoctor of Optometry/lili10+ years of experience/liliProven track record of results/liliOD mentoring experience/liliDemonstrated leadership/management skills/liliKnowledge of current Optometric technology amp; practices/liliStrong problem solving amp; critical thinking skills/liliOrganization amp; time management skills/liliKnowledge of sound business management practices/li/ulpPay Range: 167,076.98 - 238,030.83 /ppThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
