Concentrate on volume increase as well as new product introduction and set up an efficient training system for operators./ppProduction supervisors are responsible for following safety policies and overseeing the creation of products while keeping employees safe in a controlled setting. They oversee the staff, the equipment, and the operations of the facility while helping everything remain organized for improved efficiency./pp /ppbMy day at EssilorLuxottica/b/polliSupervision and LeadershipulliLead, motivate, and supervise a team to achieve the KPIs./liliProvide guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production targets./liliFoster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement./li/ul/liliProduction CoordinationulliPlan and prioritize production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines./liliCoordinate with other departments such as planning, quality control, and maintenance to ensure smooth production flow./liliMonitor production processes and adjust as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime./li/ul/liliQuality AssuranceulliImplement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high product standards./liliConduct regular inspections of materials, equipment, and finished products to identify and rectify any defects or issues./liliCollaborate with the quality control team to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions./li/ul/liliSafety and ComplianceulliEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment./liliConduct safety training sessions and promote awareness of safe work practices among staff./liliInvestigate and report any accidents or incidents and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks./li/ul/liliInventory ManagementulliMonitor inventory levels of raw materials, supplies, and finished products./liliCoordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and efficient inventory management./li/ul/liliContinuous Improvement:ulliIdentify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement./liliImplement Lean manufacturing principles and techniques to streamline operations and eliminate waste./liliEncourage feedback from staff and actively seek suggestions for improvement./li/ul/li/olpbMust have/b/pulliBachelor’s degree in engineering: Metallurgical/ Mechanical/ Industrial, or related field preferred./liliProven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in Cutting, Pressing, Stitching, Stamping and Thermoforming operations./liliIn-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations./liliFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies./liliExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure./liliProficiency in using computer software for production planning, inventory management, and data analysis./liliAble to communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments in English./liliCapable of understanding and interpreting technical documents, procedures, and safety regulations written in English./liliGood communication skills./liliConfident decision making./liliAbility to act quickly./liliEffective planning./liliAbility to take ownership./liliAbility to work in shift pattern/li/ul
