Represents LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community amp; delivers key performance metrics.    /pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliDelivers quality amp; improvement to meet or exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs):ulliComp Sales, % Sales to Plan; Conversion amp; Customer Count, Comp Growth; Increased Traffic; Store Operating Profitability; Continuity of Care, Exam Growth amp; Retention Goals; Net Promoter Score; Current year objectives/li/ul/liliDemonstrates understanding of retail business amp; the capability to transfer knowledge to superior sales amp; business results. Learns amp; understands the competition amp; market trends./liliSupports the store manager in diagnosing the business amp; leverages the synergies of Retail, Lab amp; Doctor to drive positive results./liliSupports store business plans to maximize sales amp; profit, leverages strengths amp; addresses opportunities for recovery./liliPartners with store manager to lead a team through strong knowledge amp; skills./liliProvides training amp; guidance to team members./liliDelivers clear amp; constructive feedback in a timely manner./liliInforms store manager of any situation that may require any development or disciplinary action of others./liliSupports recruiting, helps select high caliber team amp; creates talent pipeline./liliFollows guidelines to optimally staff store./liliShows great pride in the store appearance amp; executes visual directives./liliStrives to maintain positive working relationship with doctors./liliAdheres to amp; ensures compliance of team to Company policies amp; procedures. Meets or exceed all goals./liliAnticipates problems before they occur; explores underlying reasons and root cause; strives for long-term solutions to problems./liliPerforms amp; understands administrative duties./liliMaintains a safe working environment for all./liliWorks a flexible schedule, including nights amp; weekends./liliUnder current amp; valid state Opticianry license perform the following:ulliProvides expertise amp; product knowledge on lens choices based on the patient’s vision needs amp; doctor prescription./liliAdjusts amp;/or repairs eyewear./liliPresents and dispenses eyewear amp; creates a lasting impression./liliPerforms accurate digital measurements./li/ul/li/ulp /ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliHigh School graduate or equivalent/liliCurrent amp; valid state Opticianry license/lili1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports/liliKnowledge of retail operations, processes amp; policies/liliStrong basic math skills/liliFamiliarity with cash register, computers amp; calculators/liliMust have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence amp; oral communication/liliStrong communicator amp; listener/liliDemonstrated high-level of selling skills/liliProven ability to problem solve/li/ulpstrong /strong/ppstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliCollege degree or equivalent/liliPrevious experience in leadership position within retail amp; customer service industry/liliKnowledge of basic optics/liliKnowledge of current store merchandise/liliState licensure (if applicable) amp;/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states/liliBrand Final Inspector Certification/liliBrand Quality, Fitting amp; Adjusting Program/li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
