You will be an on-the-floor leader, filling ophthalmic sunglass prescriptions and fitting/adapting lenses and frames. In addition, you will be performing all functions related to the Sunglass Hut Experience and Store Operations to support and assist management in achieving sales goals., Including learning and maintaining knowledge of the policies and procedures for opening, closing, and operating the store./pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliWelcome all customers, set expectations with customers/liliCustom fit glasses amp; precisely place prescription in lenses/liliActs as a leader in optical acumen/liliTake amp; record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure finished eyewear meets standards amp; customer needs/liliAssists team with complex product needs amp; prescriptions/liliAccurate amp; thorough use of technology despite time pressure amp; customer volume, exceptional product knowledge, use of appropriate tools/liliProactively, explores root cause of issues, forward thinking, ensures customers are satisfied amp; expectations are exceeded, solution driven/liliAbility to multi-task, prioritize amp; manage time with competing priorities/liliStrive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs amp; competencies/liliTake pride in store appearance, help to keep store clean, attractive amp; organized/liliResourceful, self-motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement amp; results/liliAdhere to company policies amp; procedure, including discounts, promotions amp; inventory management/li/ulp /ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliHigh School graduate or equivalent/liliState Licensure in Opticianry/liliOptical dispensing experience/liliStrong customer service skills: communicator, listener amp; team builder/liliKnowledge of current store merchandise/liliStrong basic math skills/liliAwareness of current fashion trends/liliSelling skills – ability to use amp; carry an iPAD/tablet/liliFamiliarity with POS, computers amp; calculators/liliEmbrace new technology amp; change/li/ulp /ppstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliPrevious customer service amp; retail experience/li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
