Leads supervisors and production teams to successfully achieve daily performance goals and objectives established by facility leaders. Maintains a safe working environment and promotes a culture of associate engagement that provides opportunities for growth and advancement./pp /ppu/ustronguMAJOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/u/strong/pulliSupervises direct reporting staff according to EssilorLuxottica Characteristics/liliFormulates department/lab specific policies and practices/liliProvides a safe working environment for all associates/liliResponsible for the achievement of lab/department productivity and quality goals/liliSets performance objectives using key leading amp; lagging metrics/liliEstablishes and maintains controls/liliManages projects as assigned by the Director/liliAssigns priorities amp; manages projects including scope, schedules amp; deadlines/liliDelegates projects to appropriate associates amp; empowers them/liliDetermines staffing requirements and coordinates hiring activities/liliRecommends amp; supports training as appropriate for departments/liliCounsels associates to develop skills within their potential/liliPlans and implement procedures and systems to continuously improve Operations/liliCoordinates financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency/liliDevelops justifications amp; cost benefits analyses/liliFacilitates the preparation and analysis of reports/liliOrganizes and manages business meetings/li/ulp /ppstronguBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/u/strong/pulli10+ years optical/manufacturing experience/lili7+ years supervisory experience/liliRecord of solid contributions through sound leadership qualities amp; interpersonal skills/liliKnowledge of human resource management principles and procedures/liliGood planning/organizational skills with emphasis on strategic planning/liliExcellent ability to analyze information amp; recognize early warning signals of problems in technical environment followed by sound problem solving skills/liliGood judgment and decision making skills/liliDetail oriented with ability to organize multiple projects/tasks at once with multiple deadlines/liliKnowledge of basic economic and accounting principles and practices/liliKnowledge in all phases of lens manufacturing equipment/liliProficient in relevant software applications/liliGood oral and written communication skills /li/ulp /ppstronguPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/u/strong/pulliBachelor’s degree in related field (Preferred)/lili7+ years optical/manufacturing experience/li/ulpPay Range: $114,788.30 - 132,637.26/ppThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
