This is a hands-on position that assists the Supervisory team with managing labor, supporting, and guiding the workflow and processes, training/cross-training new and tenured associates in all functions required. They help to provide continuous improvement ideas and implementation of new processes to team members to ensure consistency and understanding./pp /ppstronguMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/u/strong/pulliUnderstand product/data flow through the entire Logistics process (i.e. Receiving unload, Receiving, put away, Letdown, Picking, Staging, and Shipping processes)/liliIdentify, diagnose, document, and resolve associate/process/software issues – understanding the root cause and steps to correction/liliCommunicate internally and externally, via in person, phone, and email with support, associates, leadership, vendors and carriers./liliPerform visual audits of associates following SOP’s for accuracy and consistency/liliAssist Supervisor/Lead with ensuring that all outbound shipping jobs meet their scheduled carrier pick ups/liliBe a point of contact for associate questions on errors, processes and discrepancies/liliCompletes projects and tasks as assigned by Leadership Team/liliMaintain clean and safe work environment/liliAssist Supervisor and/or lead associates when necessary/liliAssist with training current and new Logistics associates on process changes, system updates etc./liliParticipate in/or conduct departmental meetings in the absence of the Logistics Lead./liliMake recommendations for improving the processes and procedures/liliBe proficient in all functions within their direct area of responsibility/liliBe a positive role model for other associates and display enthusiastic behavior/liliLead by example/li/ulp /ppstronguBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/u/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent/lili+2 Years related experience/liliClear and effective verbal and written communication skills/liliAbility to effectively communicate with both associates and leadership/liliStrong organizational skills/liliAbility to work independently with minimal supervision/liliAbility to learn and maintain Warehouse Management software training/liliKnowledge of PC’s and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel amp; Outlook/liliAbility to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, ladders, cart, etc.) and lift/carry supplies up to 40 lbs/liliForklift Certified – Stand Up reach style and Sit Down style/liliAbility to work in a standing/walking position for up to 12 hours/liliAbility to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors and Manager/liliAbility to maintain confidentially/liliKnowledge of general warehouse processes and paper flow/liliKnowledge of SAP/li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
