In our dynamic environment, fueled by technology and innovation, our people have the space to pioneer new solutions./ppJoin our global community of over 200,000 dedicated employees around the world in driving the transformation of the eyewear and eyecare industry. a href=https://www.linkedin.com/company/essilorluxottica/posts/?feedView=allDiscover more by following us on LinkedIn!/a/ppstrongGENERAL FUNCTION /strong/ppThe Maintenance Tech II is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all Facility and Production equipment, which include all automation related equipment such as Hytrol and Intelligrated conveyors, automated packing and labeling equipment, and Sortation Equipment./pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliPerform maintenance and required preventative maintenance on all Automated Production systems with emphasis on Allen Bradley PLC systems and Industrial Controls./liliIdentify and facilitate equipment improvements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime./liliTroubleshoots and diagnoses motors, controls, distributions systems, Allen Bradley PLC systems./liliTroubleshoot and maintain Hytrol and Intelligrated Conveyor, automated packing and labeling equipment, and Sortation Equipment./liliSupports Building maintenance repairs (Plumbing, Electrical , HVAC ) as needed/liliTrack maintenance work orders, inventory, purchase orders, facility inspections as required/liliAssist the maintenance team in the training and team development./liliMust be reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods./liliMust be available for weekend and after hours call in./liliSupport, follow, and monitor all safety requirements / expectations/liliMaintain adherence to company policies./li/ulp /ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulli2 yr. Technical or trade school education or equivalent experience/lili3+ years industrial maintenance experience required/liliMust be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and all maintenance procedures including mechanical, logic and fluid power diagrams./liliAllen Bradley PLC knowledge/liliMust have knowledge of procedures and standards including Lock-Out/ Tag-Out./liliMSDS, PPE, OSHA Standards./liliAbility to troubleshoot problems/issue using root cause analysis./liliUse of repetitive motion of hands and wrists as necessary/liliAbility to lift up to 75 pounds/li/ulpThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
