Our Optometrists utilize their knowledge, efficiency, and the most modern technology to provide the best vision for everyone./pp /ppOur Practice is a part of TeamVision, a Management Service Organization within EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. Together, we provide operational excellence to eyecare professionals with an aim to be the leading eye care provider in our community./ppstrongGENERAL FUNCTION /strong/ppThis role supports the practice by ensuring unsurpassed patient experiences when selecting eyewear or other products. This role supports establishing the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community./pp /ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliGreets all patients with a warm welcome. Shows urgency in providing service to patients and satisfying their needs./liliExplores the needs and priorities of patients and links to practice offerings, including eye exam./liliAttentive to details, asks clarifying questions, and consults with Optician as needed./liliDemonstrates superior product knowledge; accurately describes the features and benefits of all products using the appropriate tools./liliAnticipates problems; explores underlying reasons for issues; strives to develop long-term solutions./liliPossesses the ability to multi-task and demonstrates the ability to prioritize and manage time with competing priorities./liliCustom fits glasses and precisely places prescription in lenses./liliCommits to delivery date and time, sets expectations for pick up, seeks feedback about experience and asks for referrals. Genuinely expresses gratitude and thanks the patient./liliStrives to achieve exceptional results on goals and competencies./liliOperates the point-of-sale system, inputting patient information with accuracy and attention to detail. When required, creates and tenders sales transactions, following operational processes and standards./liliPresents, celebrates and educates at product pick-up./liliTakes pride in the appearance of the practice and shows initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized. Secures all company assets under one’s control./liliInforms management of potential safety opportunities./liliAdhere to attendance and daily time keeping requirements./liliAdhere to all company policies and procedures./liliSell on your feet 80%-100% of the time./liliConsistently maintains proper dress code./liliPerform other duties as assigned by Practice Manager or as business needs./li/ulp /ppstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliHigh School graduate or equivalent/liliStrong customer service skills/liliStrong basic math skills/liliEffective selling skills/liliFamiliarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, or other software applications/liliEmbraces new technology and change/liliStrong communicator and listener/li/ulp /ppstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliEyecare experience/liliSales experience/li/ulpPay Range: 17.60  - 24.62 /ppThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
