We also supply coatings, inks, inserts and other innovative products to customers throughout the world./ppOur team members bring our mission to life each and every day by helping people see a brighter world./ppstrongGENERAL FUNCTION /strong/ppemProvides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for a 24/7 optical manufacturing operation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational excellence, and customer requirements/em/ppstrongMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliLeads and directs all manufacturing operations, shaping the long-term strategy and capabilities needed to support business growth and evolving customer demands/liliEnsures production targets are met with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost/liliMonitors and reports on key operational performance metrics, ensuring visibility to leadership and driving data-informed decision-making/liliOwns the financial performance of the manufacturing organization, including budgeting, cost optimization, and capital investment planning/liliEnsures complete compliance to ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards/liliChampion for Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S and a High-Performance Work Team Culture/liliLeads and drives continuous improvement initiatives that drive step-change improvements in productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction for the site/liliDrives adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital tools to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability/liliFosters a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and team member development/liliPartners with Human Resources to drive talent strategies, workforce planning, and employee relations initiatives/liliEnsures consistent application of company policies and standards across production operations/liliDirect contact with customers and suppliers, both internal and external, to foster improved quality and productivity/liliPartners with other stakeholders in the development of business goals and action plans that support EssilorLuxottica’s strategies and policies/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent/lili5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment/liliAbility to support a 24/7 operation/liliSix Sigma/LEAN Manufacturing familiarity and experience/liliExcellent planning and organizational skills/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/liliDemonstrated abilities to coach and develop people/liliCustomer focused/li/ulpstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliExperience in medical device manufacturing/liliMaster’s degree (MBA, Engineering, or equivalent)/liliStrong background in highly automated or advanced manufacturing technologies/li/ulpPay Range: 168,029.40  - 230,390.60 /ppThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
