RETAIL TRAINEE, BRAND PARTNERSHIPS

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is responsible for supporting the Brand Partnerships team, focusing on stock and operations support for Brand Partnership and Out-of-Network Events.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Learn to accurately process client transactions on the POS system.
  • Support the team by verifying merchandise prices and preparing items for clients (wrapping and bagging).
  • Assist store management with various ad hoc projects.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control tasks under supervision.
  • Learn to maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized manner.
  • Assist sales staff in retrieving merchandise from stock as needed.
  • Support visual merchandising and operations teams with moving and storing fixtures, furniture, and merchandise.
  • Learn and assist with facility and fixture maintenance, coordinating minor repairs as required.
  • Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
  • Support the processing of inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments.
  • Understand and assist with inventory paperwork (e.g., damages, returns).
  • Ensure high standards when packaging client merchandise.
  • Support the client delivery process, including tracking and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with operations and inventory control tasks for events to ensure accuracy.
  • Support shipping and receiving for events and client shipments.
  • Learn and adhere to selling ceremonies and client experience expectations in remote environments.
  • Assist in partnering with the retail store network for order fulfillment.
  • Support the follow-up order process to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

KEYS FOR SUCCESS

Education:

  • Current college or university undergrad University student with the ability to operate full-tme hours
  • Post-grad early career professionals or retail professional

Experience:

  • Desire to learn and grow in a retail environment.
  • Basic computer literacy; willingness to learn various software programs.

Competencies:

  • Enthusiasm for a career in retail, with an interest in luxury products and design.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proactive and eager to take initiative.
  • Good observation and listening skills.
  • Developing problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong foundational oral and written communication skills.

Languages: Foreign Languages a plus

Workplace: Based out of Los Angeles, CA with 60% travel to retail locations for events
