Merchandiser/Assistant Merchandising Manager – Women's Leather Goods
About the role
Job Description:
In charge of the management of a product category, under the management and the responsibility of the Merchandising Manage
Provides support to Merchandising Manager in driving overall Women's Leather Goods performance
- Prepares and analyses product performance data such as Sales reports, Sell-Thru reports, transfers and regroupings.
- Prepares analytical and qualitative data in preparation for business reviews
- Assists Merchandising Manager in the buying preparation: buying report, market/trend search, qualitative and quantitative feedbacks to Central
- Assists Merchandising Manager during showrooms thru input of ideas and order key-in
- Works with Merchandising Manager
- Identifies new business opportunities to grow business
- Develops product knowledge to stores thru training material translation & delivery and input of new training ideas
Liaise with other departments and ensure integration & execution of global strategies
- Close cooperation with Supply Chain on Women’s Leather Goods auto-rep and transfers
- Organization/coordination of seasonal previews and events
- Assists stores with special product/ training requests and thru regular visits and smooth communication
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years working experience in relevant function
- Strong product sense and fashion sensitivity
- Shoes background is preferred
- Good command of English and Mandarin
- Able to travel frequently and handle heavy workload
- Master / Business school background
- Ideally overseas scholarship background
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- Proven ability in communication, convincing and motivating
- Professional presentation skills
- Good command of computer skills
