VP, Marketing, Greater China/VP, Marketing, Greater China

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Define & Lead Client-Centric Marketing Strategy

- Define and drive the overall client-centric marketing strategy for Greater China in alignment with global direction

- Position client development as the core business growth engine across the region

- Translate global brand vision into scalable regional strategies and measurable commercial impact

- Lead an integrated client ecosystem connecting CRM, E-clienteling, data capabilities, and client engagement

- Own the full client lifecycle strategy from recruitment to retention and long-term value creation

- Oversee the evolution of client infrastructure (e.g., CDP, E-clienteling tools) with a clear business and ROI focus

- Establish governance, KPIs, and performance frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness and client impact

- Ensure strategic alignment and consistency across Mainland China and HK/Macau/Taiwan

- Act as a key advisor to the President and leadership team on growth strategy

- Partner closely with Global Marketing, CRM, and Client teams to co-develop strategies, ensuring strong local relevance while contributing to global best practices


Lead Retail Marketing & Client Activation

- Define the strategic direction for retail marketing and client activation across the region

- Oversee high-impact client events, boutique activations, and experiential initiatives

- Ensure all activations deliver both brand elevation and measurable business outcomes

- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance client engagement opportunities

- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Retail, PR, and VM teams

- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in brand expression and activation excellence, while adapting to local client expectations


Drive Client Experience, Styling & Couture Excellence

- Define and elevate Dior’s client experience strategy across all touchpoints

- Oversee Couture client engagement and VIC experience development

- Activate and develop the styling community to reinforce brand differentiation

- Create elevated, differentiated client experiences that strengthen Dior’s luxury positioning

- Partner with global counterparts to align on client experience standards and contribute to the evolution of global client experience frameworks


Team Management

- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing and client team across Greater China

- Foster a collaborative, client-centric, and performance-driven culture

- Monitor individual development plans and build strong succession pipelines

- Encourage cross-market and global exposure to strengthen team capabilities and mindset

Direct Reports: Client Development Director, Customer Excellence Director, Head of Retail Marketing, Client Marketing Director, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan

Team Size: >20

Departments with close contact: PR, VM, Supply Chain, Finance, Training, Retail team & Paris event team


PERSON SPECIFICATION:


Experience:

- 20+ years in marketing, CRM, or client engagement

- Strong background in luxury retail or premium brands

- Strong social networking with existing and potential clients

- Strong understanding of Greater China market

Skills:

- Excellent social and interpersonal skills

- People management skills

- Language skills: English, Mandarin, other language ability is an added advantage

- Committed, detail minded, target oriented, flexible, team player, good understanding of luxury fashion industry
