Description
The Finance Temp helps the accounting team of 5 to oversee all financial accounting and reporting activities for Louis Vuitton Korea business.
The role needs to partner efficiently with other accountants to ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards, statutory regulations, tax filing and internal control requirements while always supporting business operations.
The accounting team is expected to interact smoothly with other departments under the CFO umbrella like Business Planning, Internal Control and Indirect Purchasing but also with all other departments throughout the company.
Les missions
The temp accountant, thanks to his/her experience on SAP, will help on designated tasks among the below Finance team responsibilities:
Accounting, Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations including but not limited to general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and inventory accounting across stores.
- T&E; review and supporting VAT filing in every quarter.
- Supporting month end closing and reporting (incl. Analyzing)
- Review and validate journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations.
- Follow up all Fixed Assets lifecycle from activation to final write-off in dedicated SAP Group software.
- Maintain accurate stock valuation and collaborate with Supply Chain on shrinkage and stock adjustments.
Business Support within the company
- Partner with Business Planning to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Provide an accounting mindset to new business opportunities like hospitality.
- Provide timely accounting information.
Audit & Compliance
- Supporting the external audit at the year end
- Strengthen internal controls over daily store reconciliations & inventory.
Ad-hoc projects
- Participate and lead the accounting side in new company projects.
