Accounting Manager

Les missions

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To maintain the books and records in accordance with the local legal and statutory requirements.
• To prepare monthly / quarterly accounting packages to Country & Regional office as requested - including: sales, income statement, cash position and cash flow forecast, inventory, headcount etc.
• To prepare month-end/ year-end statutory accounts in accordance with local legal requirements as well as year-end audit.
• To provide all supporting documentation (mainly actual) for budget / revision and 3-year plan preparation.
• To implement internal control procedures set by the company.
• To handle tax issues, including tax filing.
• To give advice and support to the Accounting and Finance team for other local legal requirements such as customs clearance, and statutory filing etc.
• To analyze and carry out analytical review of sales. C.O.S., and expenses.
• To monitor physical inventories and ensure that all necessary adjustments are provided for.
• To report V.A.T. and other local tax reporting to authorities.
• To safeguard company's assets, stock, assist on following up stock discrepancy and assist on action plan to support retail and better monitor stock discrepancy, stock movement, monthly, quarterly and yearly stock take.
• Any other assignments assigned by Finance Director and Managing Director

Profil

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's Degree, in Accounting (CPA is a plus but not necessary) or related discipline. Computer literacy with experience with reporting/ consolidation soft wares, SAP). Strong analytical skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum 10-year-experience in similar capacity with multinational firms Action Oriented / Drive for Result Mature and independent. Open-minded, approachable and pleasantly confident. Preferably retail experience. Good command of both verbal and written English is a must.
