About the Role

LVMH Watches & Jewelry Malaysia is looking for a dynamic Accountant (GL) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur! In this role, you will support month-end closing, financial reporting, and daily accounting operations of Singapore. Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Les missions

  • Prepare journal voucher with supporting documents for month end closing (accruals, reversal, reclass GL, provision and adjustment)
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliation
  • Management of fixed asset and inventory
  • Assist with Syrus reporting, COS (monthly closing) and BUD (Budget) package
  • Update account schedules, ie marketing, accruals, deposit, prepayment and other receivable
  • Update YTD marketing spent after month end closing
  • Submit survey form to Government statistics department upon request
  • Prepare and submit GST report
  • Issue DN and CN for cash discount, sales incentive and quarter end incentive
  • Issue DN and CN for intercompany and inter-brands recharge
  • Check the open marketing Purchase Orders (POs) and perform accruals, as well as identify whether there are any duplicate POs issued
  • Assist with periodic SAV stocks cycle count and repair watch count
  • Assist with budget file preparation
  • Assist in boutique and SAV stock count for MY and SG
  • Assist to provide supporting documents to external auditors
  • Assist to provide supporting documents to income tax agent
  • Draft financial statements

Profil

Diploma or University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CIMA or ACCA qualification, completed or in progress, is advantageous. 3-5 years of accounting experience in an MNC environment preferred. Good command of spoken and written English and Malay. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Knowledge in SAP is advantageous. Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills; detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines. Proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
