Description

 

Inbound shipments (merchandise and non-merchandise):

·      Prepare shipment delivery instruction to forwarder

·      Check import CITES certificates; provide greenlight to the forwarder and Macau broker for Macau import CITES application.

·      Prepare inbound shipment pre-alert email to stores / departments / warehouses

·      Check stock transfer invoice, packing list and license (CITES, non-CITES, etc.) from other markets and provide shipping instruction / greenlight

·      Verify damaged inbound shipment and provide instruction to forwarder (arrange surveyor for inspection or release from cargo claim)

·      Report shipment discrepancy to HQ; follow up with Helpdesk ticket for missing shipment ASN

·      Arrange marine cargo insurance claim for damage cargo or report to HQ for claim.

·      File CITES certificate and non-CITES declaration / attestation documentation (hard copy and/or digital copy)

·      Arrange import declaration (provide AWB; invoice & declared value) with relevant forwarders / brokers / couriers in HK and Macau

·      E-filing all the documents of shipment in shared drive (import / export declaration)

                            

Outbound shipments (merchandise and non-merchandise):

·      Check packing list from warehouse are correct and the merchandise transfer in system from warehouse main to export is done

·      Prepare inter-company or proforma invoice, packing list, other license (e.g. re-export CITES) to destination markets and ask for the greenlight, finish the transfer process in system

·      Prepare export shipment booking to forwarder, FedEx or DHL Express to arrange shipment

·      Inform the departments (e.g. SC, Merch, Retail, VM, AFSS) and destination Logistics team about the Shipment Details (pre-advice with flight details)

·      Prepare HK re-export CITES application and non-CITES declaration form / attestation letter

·      Arrange marine cargo insurance claim for damage cargo or report to HQ for claim.

·      E-filing all the documents of shipment in shared drive (Declaration, shipping documents) and share to SSC department

                                                     

Other Logistics operations:

·      Check import regulation for new products and new material per season

·      Answer new CITES species checking with AFCD upon request by government

·      Answer inquiries from different departments and overseas markets

                                                         

Other responsibilities:

·      Verify logistics related billings and approve payment in Esker

·      Support Greater China and Headquarter on after sales repair process; defective management; sustainability, etc.

·      Support Finance on internal control audit or external audit documentaries.

·      Support projects initiated by HK office, Greater China and Headquarter.

 

Qualifications:

·      Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in import&export and local distribution for retail / fashion.

·      Familiar with Customs requirements and regulations, Customs knowledge in HK and MO markets will be a plus.

·      Excellent communication skills, sense of urgency, logic, and detail-oriented.

·      Able to work effectively with agencies and 3PL service provider.

·      Good command of Microsoft Office (especially excel) and English skills in both written and speaking.
