The Marketing Manager for Loewe Perfumes Japan will be a pivotal leader responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with global brand guidelines and local market opportunities.
This role requires a deep understanding of Retail industry in Japan, strong brand-building capabilities, and a proven ability to drive engagement and sales. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for lifestyle, beauty, art, and culture, reflecting the core values of the Loewe Perfumes brand.
Les missions
Market Strategy and Marketing 360° Planning
- Lead the Marketing mix (360/digital/retail/PR) for local strategies and plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth with adapting global brand strategies.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and competition to formulate strategic decisions.
- Gather and provide relevant market information to General Management and HQ teams (local analysis, market insights, monthly reports, quantitative and qualitative feedback on launches, competitors, market trend and evolution…).
- Partner agencies to develop a broader business strategy (brand image, budget guidelines).
Marketing and Communication
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, events, and public relations, to build brand awareness and loyalty.
- Collaborate very regularly with Marketing HQ team to anticipate, adapt and implement the marketing plans, forthcoming launches and PR activities that resonate with local audience.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to adapt and implement marketing campaigns, product launches, and PR activities to resonate with the local audience.
- Ensure the brand's positioning and identity are consistently conveyed throughout all marketing materials and customer touchpoints.
Performance and Governance
- Establish KPIs for marketing performance including brand desirability, campaign effectiveness, innovation success, and commercial contribution to guide decision-making
- Monitor performance against objectives and lead corrective actions when results deviate from plans or market conditions require strategy adjustments.
- Analyze local reporting activity and figures to optimize strategies.
Organizational Leadership
- Build, develop and motivate the marketing teams with the talent, skills, and structure needed to deliver strategic objectives and operational excellence.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's success and professional development.
Retail & Sales Collaboration (added section)
- Build strong Marketing activation plans to increase market share within each retailer.
- Communicate and support actively other teams such as Sales, and Training to achieve targets.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring proper allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals and maximize ROI.
- Manage the budget including price strategy, profitability of the brand, promotion ratio, stock level, and P&L;, according to local marketing plan and global guidelines.
